The Technical Notes Manual, RFC (1916) gives detailed profiles and rigging layouts for several British WWI aircraft. The eflightmanuals.com website is a great resource for this and other WWI manuals. You can get their stuff on either hard copy or CD.

  Their website is http://www.eflightmanuals.com/

To look at the Tech Notes from 1916, search on "technical notes."

Includes foldouts with dimensions and rigging for the -

  Maurice Farman Shorthorn
  Maurice Farman Longhorn
  B.E. 2 C.
  Avro
  Bleriot
  Bristol Scout (Type C)
  Vickers' Fighter
  Sopwith 2-Seater
  Vickers' Scout
  F.E 2 B.
  DeHavilland 1
  R.E. 7
  DeHavilland 2

Bob Pearson's profile CD "Aircraft Colours & Markings of the First World War Era" is an excellent source.

      Hi,

I'm trying to get different profiles for the Dr.1, Albatros, Pfalz, Nieuport, etc. Mostly the main aircraft of WWI

I already have a few places to look online and in some books I just got but I only have afew maybe 10 profiles per planes available right now.

I was wondering if you have some suggestions for website or books I could check out to help me acquire more profiles as reference for future projects.

      Thanks for sharing
