I have mailed some pictures to Allan to go on the site, and put one on the
atpic gallery listed below. GWICC was able to have table space because Janet
of the IPMS(UK) SASIG gave up one of her tables.
We should have had another listee, Nick Hamer, displaying as well, but he
was unable to attend due to transport problems.
I have just had confirmation that GWICC has two tables allocated at the RAF
Museum, Cosford Show on Sunday 6th April, so UK listees, there¹s your next
opportunity to fly the flag for WW1 modelling.
regards
Steve

If I didn't spend so much time on line
I'd get some models finished

Subject: [WWI] GWICC at Yeovilton Show
Hi all,
Just a quick email to let you know that the GWICC table was on display at
the modelshow at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton today. Steve (and
Janet) Cox did all the hard word, and relatively new listee Dave Hooper
brought some superb models along (including a lovely Short 184 and Fairey
Campania). The display was all naval themed, including some of Steve's
rather obscure vacforms (such as the LVG V19 and PV2 and PV2 bis). Steve and
Dave took some pics, I'm sure they will post them soon.
We had a lot of folks asking about the models and I hope a couple of them
may show up on here to get some help and advice. Dave Nash and Andrew
Johnson are names I can remember, but there was at least one more guy who
said he may drop by.
Cheers,
Nigel
