Actually, I am a big fan of the gear in the little Cessna. It really 
is pretty slick and very affordable considering where we were only a 
few years ago for gear in these sizes. Some folks are grumbling about 
range, but I don't need to fly a 16 inch model very far away. It is 
much more fun to see it loafing along near by. The E-III will be really cool.

My model isn't scale, but it is fun. Anyone interested can see it at 
this address instead of searching through the thread.
