I enjoy all scale models of WWI German subjects. However, it seems only the
1/72nd scale ones actually get completed. I have a huge stash of 1/48
plastic and resin kits. Most are unstarted, but I have big plans! The only
1/32 scale model I have is the Roden Fokker D.VI. I don't think I'm excited
about branching out into this scale due to the completed size. We'll see.
My other passions are Eastern Front aircraft, late war Fw's and Ta's and
anything Finnish. I also build the occaisonal tank as a diversion. I
gravitate towards Soviet armor since it's easier to paint: green. I have a
Pershing collection too since that is such a nice kit. I did start the Karl
Morser with rail cars last Christmas. It's in sub assemblies ready for
paint. I need to get on that.
I have a few ships I've collected: the Hood, an Accurate Armour 1/35th type
VII u-boat as well as a few sailing ships. This year's Christmas present was
the 1/35 PT Boat from Italeri. I may start that once the Lion Roar detail
set arrives. I have been wanting to do the Hornet with a full complement of
B-25's and SBDs.
No jets (okay, an Me-262) tweeners, cars, Sci-fi or figures.
Later!
Brent
