IIRC, the white areas of Lothar's tripe were painted out, with green, before the yellow went on, this may or may not be right, but painting out the white was done, on several machines. FWIW

I'm doing 3 tripes in 1/72 and I need some advice: Roden says the nat'l insignias in the yellow painted areas are lime green. Shouldn't this be the other way around? I would expect some bleed-through of the green streaks to cause a pale green tone, while the white rectangles around the crosses should be yellow. Not ready for the yellow yet, doing the licht blau tonight-John Marganski
