Mine is, and has been for years, Poll Scale (acrylic) flat, it stays flat, even when mixed with Future (not too much Future), and has not betrayed me yet. FWIW

Subject: [WWI] Gloss and flat finishes
Good day all
Slipping out of lurk mode, first my complements to the models that have apeared here lately, lots of beautiful work there.
Working on an ot flat decked floatie thingie that will need some gloss on a very corrogated deck to get a bunch of decals to adhere properly, followed by a flat coat to bring it back to scale.
My last attempt at using my old standby Testors flat laquer in a spray can left me very disappointed. The laquer had yellowed, changed the tint of the grays and left a lot of ugly brownish runs all over the other project I worked on.
What are your favorite products for restoring a flat finish over a Futured glossed surface.
TIA
