Hi All,

Thanks very much for the helpful replies and e-mails. This will help speed up the publication of the book.

Yes, I'm the same Tom Young from RMS lo these many years.

Current count of kits/models of WWI aircraft is 1,489. In the large stack of modeling magazines to be processed there are scores more.

What was the count for other scales? I forget. Oh, wait. No one has ever counted them, but they are a tiny percentage when compared with 1/72 scale.

I didn't find the somewhat snide remark from Oz to be offensive. Just protective of his own chosen scale as I am with mine. Reality. on the other hand, favors 1/72 heads and shoulders above all other scales combined. When the after market kits are listed it becomes an enormous undertaking. Not only are most of the new injection molded and resin kits far better than just a few years back, the after market sets allow for fantastic detail for modelers with moderate experience.

BTW, does anybody know where I can find the Eduard Sopwith Triplane detail set? It seems to be long gone from their catalog.

TIA,

Tom
