Welcome from Denver Colorado, Tom. I won't be any help to you because I only build in 1:12 and 1:16 scale, at a blistering rate of one every few years.

> Been lurking here for several months. Seemslike a nice neighborhood.

> As a manner of introduction: I work only in 1/72 scale (ok, sometimes 1/76) in all mediums and all subjects from 1900 to present. For the last year, for various reasons, I have been immersed in WWI Eastern Front and Russian Revolution period research and modeling. One reason involves August Blume and his request for me to do a series of small vignettes of this period. Four are completed so far including two Imperial Russian combat scenes (one a trench scene) and one each Imperial and Red cavalry scene. I'll post more about them if anyone is interested.

> The other reason for immersing myself in WWI subjects involves a book. I'm the co-author, along with Huynh-Dinh Khuong and Claude Boileau, of the Encyclopedia of 1/72 Scale Models, first brought out in 1988 in France, then in England, the United States and Italy. I'm now preparing my second book, this one covering all aspects of WWI in 1/72 (or close) scale. I've been databasing the subject for several years and have listings of kits and models exceding 3,200 items. Almost 1,500 of these are aircraft with the lists of figures being larger than first glance as many are sets, some of fifty or more.

> The reason for my post, aside from an introduction, is to ask for help. While I have hundreds of items listed for some of the catagories, I need help with deleting non-WWI items. Aero engines are a good example as are weapons. Structures, artillery, even vehicles could really use some expert examination.

> So, if anyone out there would like to help you would be most welcomed. Can't afford to pay anything, but credit shall be given in the book.
