Tom,

welcome to the list from a British ex-pat in France.

I'm new to the list myself and I'm starting to learn just how much information and knowledge it collectively has.  It's encyclopeadic.  Despite the false modesty.

Most, if not all of them, are happy to share their knowledge.  Chuck 'em a few questions and I'm sure you'll get some informed or informative responses.
