Hei,

Just got back from Finland where I covered six OT museums in five days and
1500km by train.
It will take me some time to sort out all the images from France and Finland.

Got to see some really unusal surviving aircraft, including a Rumpler 6b
seaplane stored in a barn.
They said the museum was in the middle of nowhere - that is not correct, it
is in the outskirts of nowhere.

I am heading over to Houston for a course early in October and consider
staying there a couple of days extra.

USS Texas is a possibilty, so is the Lone Star Museum in Galveston.

Does someone know if the CAFs American Airpower Heritage Museum at Midland
is worth a visit?
I can fly there on a daytrip from Houston, but does not know if they have
non-flying aircraft of the CAF on display?

  Eders
Knut Erik
