Well, if you are quite sure of it, add it to your model! It may result in a
quite interesting discussion for modeling judges, but if you have the
pictures, it may earn you a few extra points for detailing and accuracy.
The reinforcement of the lower airfoil was a field modification to keep the
"winglet" in the correct incidence angle after repeated landings. It seems
that it was quite a chore to keep this in proper alignment once it was
damaged, so the auxiliary struts were preventive. An out of incidence
airfoil may cause the triplane to fly improperly affecting its perfomance.
