For once, I can talk about activity in *my* model room. I hired a contractor
to mend some cracks near the ceiling of the room, and since the ceiling is
made up of iron beams and brickwork, I made it peeled off of the old
masonry, showing the nice brickwork pattern and aged iron. Later I'll make
that either clear varnished or all painted white, still undecided which.
I'll also add a new window (thanks to the advice of our listee Martín, who
visited the place last month) and added a few power sources to the walls.
Once the room is painted I'll probably build a proper light fixture for the
ceiling, nowadays has an old fluorescent tube that's starting to blink. The
room has two built-in storage cabinets, the perfect place to hide the stash!
As you may imagine, I'm far from building any model nowadays...
