Busy... working a lot, now as editor at the newspaper. And away from
modeling for 4 years now -- especially because, without a car of my
own, I never found a safe way to bring my stuff, including ready
models, through a 400 km trip between Sao Paulo and Curitiba.
But this is about to change. I'm going on vacations next May and will
finally have enough time to bring at least my toolbox and part of my
stash to my apartment (I spent the whole 2006 vacations volunteering
at the Winter Olympics, and the whole 2007 vacations traveling through
Brazil, so I didn't have time for anything else). Maybe the completed
kits will still have to stay a bit longer at my parents' since it's
risky trip, even by airplane.
And, when I'm back from vacations and have my tools and some kits
here, I'll finally get mback to the hobby, probably building a couple
of Eduard non-profi Dr.I's (with some detail work, like PE Spandaus)
to get used to the job again.
It's nice to be back to the list as well, and I even ordered some
Osprey books which were released since I stopped building kits. But
I'm yet to find a modeling club in Curitiba...
All the best from Brazil
Marcio
