Warren, my friend, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT of course. However we ALL have a bad habit of not changing the subject line when we post a message.

Just look at all the recent posts and compare the message to the subject line.

I do not mean to offend you either, but you absolutely CAN'T go by the subject line, period.

Warren continued: <<I didn't go because I did not have time to go look at them then.>>

I'm sorry. I forget that not everybody is retired like I am.

Warren continued: <<When I saw "attaching pix to posts" in the subject line I automatically deleted it.>>

Warren, my friend, YOU'RE RIGHT. My bad. I should have changed the subject line. But in self-defense my message WAS an appropriate continuation of the thread "Attaching pix to posts (was: New models postes)".

It was that thread which caused me to set up the Flickr page. Then I told the list to go have a look ... mainly to see if non-Flickr members could get in ... but assuming people would look at the pictures and respond. Assuming is a no-no. My bad.

<< If you had put "rib depiction" or something similar I might have opened it up. Don't couch one thread that you want to discuss (rib depictions) inside one that bears no relation (attaching pix) and then get your feelings stomped when no one responds to the former Jim.>>

Warren, my friend, you are 100% correct. No, wait, 50%. What hurt my admittedly oversensitive feelings was that nobody besides Allan complied with my request to see if they could access my web page without joining Flickr.

It was a SECONDARY concern that nobody said anything about the pictures I posted there. That's like posting a picture of your model and nobody saying a word.

My LAST concern was that nobody said anything about the depiction of ribs.

Warren, I hope we can still be friends.

Jim

" Thanks Allan. Nobody else responded. I had hoped to initiate a discussion on the proper depiction of ribs. Oh well. "

Jim, I do not mean to offend, but if you want to talk about ribs, then you need to start a discussion in ribs, don't couch it in a post saying "please look at my flickr postings". I didn't go because I did not have time to go look at them then. When I saw "attaching pix to posts" in the subject line I automatically deleted it. If you had put "rib depiction" or something similar I might have opened it up. Don't couch one thread that you want to discuss (rib depictions) inside one that bears no relation (attaching pix) and then get your feelings stomped when no one responds to the former Jim.
