[WWI] Von Richthofen and Das Boot (War Heroes)

Das Boot, my favorite war flick of all time, wasn't about war heroes, but real men thrown into the charnel house of war,  causing some of them to break (the scene when the burning British ship is torpedoed and tears are shed; the scene where "the Ghost" breaks and tries to exit the submerged sub).

The von Richthofen movie CAN be about a war hero; MvR was indeed the epitome (at least as far as the propagandists were concerned)--except to his victims, of course!
