Dave,
         True enough. War movies and the Germand film industry added to
their history and how they feel about it added to how the world feels about
it results in some interesting outcomes. There was a discussion over on the
Aerodrome a little while back about this specifically regarding the Red
Baron movie and there was a German fellow making some interesting and well
thought out comments. FWIW, when the movie "Stalingrad" was made and
released in the early 90's was a real turning point in German film, and
emotionally for them as a nation.
