" Wasn't Das Boot a German film about German War Heros? "
Dave, not necessarily. "Das Boot" was an eight hour miniseries adapted from
a novel written by a journalist (not a vet) who went out on a submarine
once. Personally, I like it, and is seen as a great anti-war film, but
aren't most of them anit-war films? OTOH, the "Red Baron" movie is a grossly
fictionalized account about a real person who, unfortunately, still holds
soem people's imaginations for all the wrong reasons.
