I'd be wary of sending a lot of attachments in an email to the list.

One of them a while back was several megabytes and was stuck way down a thread. 
  I couldn't figure out why I'd gone over my mailbox limit.

The odd pic is nice, such as Jim's ones on turnbuckle sizes, especially if 
there's no better place to put it.
