I would tape along the traling edge (from above), then pour in CA.
Remove the tape and sand down
a little, then turn over and tape on the other side (from below) pour in
CA, and sand some more.
This should extend the trailing edge with a layer of CA that can be
sanded to a fine edge.
It sounds much more complicated than it is, the tape is just for
ensuring that the CA runs along
the trailing edge. And yes the MAC Spad trailing edges are a PITA, I'm
not completely satisfied
with mine either, I think I left them too thick, perhaps that was lucky!
