I was hoping to refer you to the WWI modeling page webiste, but the few photos of the Navy Camel in Pensacola don't show this feature. And I was a bit surprised that there were so few pictures of that specimin ont he site since I know several listees, myself included, have photographed it. But the only images I see are from Mike Kavanaugh. Maybe he has the picture you need.
