Thanks for the info on this SE5a. Nice to know this aircraft it's still
around (albet in different colours).
Thanks to everybody who has had nice things to say about my models. I'm
not sure how deserved they are considering the company I'm keeping these
days.
Regards
Dave

Lovelly contributions to the group.
I will have to check on the serial numbers, but I have an idea lurking
in that grey matter that that SE5a was eventually used as a trainer by
the SAAF, then sold to a skywriter. It hung in the war museum for a
while in its silver coped colour scheme and I believe is now painted to
represent one of the machines flown by Beauchamp-Proctor, but this I
will have to check up on. The serial number, as I said, rang a bell. Or
maybe I have been bashed over teh head again
By the way, Springboks won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now to defeat England.
Diego, Wonderful news about the Pumas, they deserved their victory,
those guys played with passion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
