Thanks for the info. Going to experiment a bit and see which works for me. As for the panel lines, I was thinking of lightly scribing first, then painting the entire fuselage initially with the base, marking off each section, then dry brushing each panel individually with a little burnt umber. But I might try the pencil. Will keep you posted.

I get a little water on the brush and dab it on the tip of the pencil. When dry I put on a coat of straight Future and then a coat of Future with a couple a couple drops of Tamiya clear yellow. I think it would look better if there were panel lines on the fuse. I think I'll try that next time!
