Doug, Thanks for the comments!! I use a base of MM wood then a Prismacolor watercolor pencil. I get a little water on the brush and dab it on the tip of the pencil. When dry I put on a coat of straight Future and then a coat of Future with a couple a couple drops of Tamiya clear yellow. I think it would look better if there were panel lines on the fuse. I think I'll try that next time!

I am building the 1/48th Albatros DII from Eduard. I have been reading on the various techniques, and well, hmmm, I only hope that my finished product is 1/10th as good as what you have achieved
