Recall that book on early Italian designs I photocopied for you? Maybe there is a drawing of the Chiribiris...
I shall look, I guess I have that book somewhere in my horribly disorganized library (which now houses small plastic dolls, balls, toy cars, chewed bits of apple, broken clothespins, etc.)
