  Hey, everyone,

I know we're supposed to be about modeling, but I'm trying to find info
about N.102/SPA.102 and the aircraft it used from late 1916 to EOW. A
little personal project, if you will. I've tried googling for info, but
found nothing of use.

Specifically, here's the problem: I've got "Les Escadrilles..." and Jim
Davilla's book but the info is very conflicting. Davilla says that the unit
became SPA.102 late in 1918 and still had N.27s into Aug. But "Les
Escadrilles..." says that N.102 had on charge in Apr 17 an N.17, an N.23 and
TWELVE Spad 7s! This last is HIGHLY unlikely for a unit that was not part
of a Groupe de Combat...

Does anyone have better information or a source for me? Unfortunately, I
can't email Bill Bailey of the League of WWI Aero Historians--my copy of the
roster shows no phone number or email, only a snail-mail address. I suppose
I could write to him for help, but I'm looking for a quick fix here.

  TIA.

                                                  Mike
