Irish and Scots are racially the same, as are the Welsh. However, their is an inverse realtionship between ones Scots heritage and ones dilution of said heritage. Another big factor is what you are diluted with. Scandinavians are particularly susceptible to good single malts. So are the English, which is why the Scots only sell them paints thinners, woops, sorry, good blends :P
