Yeah, the story was lacking somewhat.
Still, I did rather enjoy it as it was wonderful to see the aircraft and Zepplins

The radials didn't bother me at all, I can buy anything if its a story that catches me,
but it didn't. Making a good film is difficult.

I know that Hollywood is economical with the truth, claiming artistic license. But this went too far. For example, according to Hollywood, the Nieuport and Fokker were powerd by radials!
Loved the final, using a pistol to finish off teh bad guy.

I saw it quite recently, too. It was released as a DVD here in Finland. It never came to cinemas. I'm afraid it was a drama, not a comedy. In a Hollywood drama the good guy shoots the bat guy in the end. In a comedy there is a fist fight in the end. I kinda expected, tho, that the cowboy and the bad baron would do a forced landing between the lines and finish the the thing with their bare fists... ;-)

Hahahahaha
Gents, living in Angola does put me somewhat behind the times, but I finally got to watch that absolutely brilliant commedy "Fly Boys".....

Oh wait, it wasn't supposed to be a comedy, was it.......
