[WWI] Rubber & paint

Hi Mihcael,
I agree with John if it is vinyl, but if it is rubber like found on the Williams Boeing B-10 white glue may not do the trick. When I made one the rubber eventually seven split apart! I'd find new wheels in that case.
Cheers,
Joel

Michael,
It really doesn't make much difference what kind of paint you use on
the rubber (vinyl) tires in the kits. Any paint will flake off
because of the flexing of the paint. The tires are made of the same
type of stuff the vinyl figures are made of. The one thing A have
found that helps some id to put a coat of white glue on first. than
paint, and don't flex the tires. The white glue will give the paint
something to bite into. Airfix used to have a barrier or under coat
for the vinyl figures they marketed, which was like a white glue
under coat.
