Great story Ray - sounds like just the kind of thing John would do! He can be a bit of a cantankerous old bugger but a real hoot when he's in a good mood. I saw him for the first time in years last May when I went back to Vancouver for a visit. Retirement seems to be treating him well....

In all fairness Ray, the same could be said of what us plastic modellers are writing about the R/C method of judging. We may not understand it or agree with it, but if the RCers are happy with it then I guess that's all that matters!
