Doesn't need to be stated up front to any degree I think. All I'm saying is
that if you plunk down a lime green & chartreuse Dr.I don't be surprised
when some 'expert' tells you it's wrong, regardless of how pleased with the
outcome you are!

Andy, I would never try to pass off my fictions as the real thing, and agree
such schemes,or even deliberate schemes that might have once been accepted
but were later proven spurious, should be stated as such, just to prevent
some future researcher from making the incorrect assumption that it is
authentic. AndI also agree that any known or deliberat deviations from known
or accepted facts should be admitted to when questioned. But stated
up-front? To what degree?

Fair enough, but as I say, if you try to pass your fantasy model off as a
representation of the real thing then just don't get upset when the colour
police are all over you because you're just asking for it.
