Ok as a member off and on since 1996, mostly in lurk mode lately. I do
have to agree that there doesnt seem like a lot of contentious or in
depth discussion, and way to many attaboy posts that have very little
to do with wwi models and aircraft specifically. Which is why I mostly
read in digest mode now.
In the past we had more a 70/30 discussion level on wwi modeling
subjects and a fair amount of well mannered discussion with opposing
viewpoints on everything from can an RE8 really fly itself with a dead
crew to the various versions of when PC10/PC12 and Nivo came into use.
I can well understand why Michael and Shane the Elder have left and
why so many of us now sit in lurk mode and post very seldom. btw both
Shane and Michael were on here before I was and have been and are a
wealth of knowledge.
Of course maybe its also a bit like "I've seen the same posts many
times before" type of
burnout....
