[WWI] Color of Fokker Dr.I cockpit parts?

Thanks Mr. Solinski. That RLM 02-ish color has been mentioned several times as a possible suspect. It seems that gray-green and a clear overcoat are the two most referenced choices from what I have read.

If anyone else has information about the most likely suspect, please feel free to chime in.

Regards,

Patrick C.

Can I assume by your answer that there is currently no consensus as to the correct color of the metal parts?
