[WWI] Color of Fokker Dr.I cockpit parts?

Hi all - I have decided to build a Eduard 1/72nd scale Fokker Dr.I as my next subject.

I have been doing some research on the correct color to paint the metal parts of the Dr.I's cockpit (control stick, framing, etc.).  So far I have seen natural metal, black, Fokker turqoise, gray, and gray-green referenced as possible colors.

Is there a consensus on which is the most likely color?
