Thanks Mike

I still haven't found it locally (Toronto) but I did find it on the Squadron site for $7.65 (which is now $7.15 Cdn. YEE HAW! Mail order in the U.S. is apparently swamped with Cdn. orders right now and they're predicting a huge backup at the border for Christmas!). It's a slightly cheaper way to flesh out a squadron for war gaming or to make a slammer for the little guy to play with. I'm working on a plastic bagged Eduard DVa for my son right now. Extra CA on all the joints and about five coats of future should help keep it together for at least a week... : )

Brad

PS That Eindekker seems to have got the upper hand! The SE jockey must've gotten sand in his eyes!

  Brad,

The local hobby shop had the rereleased S.E.5a and a colleague from IPMS picked it up. It's got both radiators (Hisso and Wolseley) and both the two-bladed and four-bladed props, but you'll still have to remove the molded-on long exhaust pipes.

I didn't get a very good look at it, but it seems like a big improvement on its face. I didn't check out the decals but the box art shows an S.E. over Palestine fighting an ... Eindecker! I'm going to have to check out sites to see if anyone has 1/72 S.E. decals. Kind of doubt it, unfortunately.

                                                      Mike
