OK, I'm going to throw my opinion in since it has been months since I have
been able to do so on this list. From my understanding the WWI List
embraces diversity in kit-building/modeling to include anything from WWI.
There is no rule stating that it has to be military or naval realted to my
knowledge. I have often thought of building a model U.S. railroad layout
set during the 1917-18 time frame, and posting pics. The U.S. railroads
were in such terrible shape at the time of U.S. entry into the war, that the
gov't. took over the running of them, and you have the birth of the USRA
(United States Railroad Administration). Therefore, it becomes a model of a
government entity trying to fight the war.
I say if it was used, or intended for use in trade, on the seas during
wartime Ernest, build it and post. Nothing has ever really stopped you from
talking about other off-topic subjects here has it? ;)
