While this is in fact true, it is also possible to calibrate a computer 
screen so that the colour *is* correct. Photographic studios and keen 
hobbyists do it all the time. That said, it is not possible to know that 
the orignal sample was photographed in a manner which didn't alter the 
colour that was intended to be captured *unless* you do it yourself and can 
calibrate every step from capture to screen (or printer, which also requires 
calibration)

The original poster (sorry, now I forget who!) clearly knows how to control 
his end of the process and probably gets a good match to the misterkit 
paints.
