It's a lot of work and  quite a good research if you need a precise shade of 
paint.
But I'm fairly certain that you won't be able to match precisely any given 
aircraft from the WW1 era, since them all might be a bit different due to 
fabric batches, amount of varnish and dope, etc.
Besides, as Shane pointed up, who says that Misterkit colours are 100% 
accurate?
Perhaps my aproach is less scientific, but I get any yellowish paint tin and 
add some white or some brown, or some grey to it.
Of course, I'm never satisfied about the finish!
