All of which is very fine, but who died and made Misterkit God? Or at least, 
how much credence can we place on their research?  How much on their 
adherence to that research.

I *know* that there was a discussion here in which Alberto Casirati (who was 
a primary source for their Italian colours) pointed out that some of the 
paints don't match the colours he gave them.

My point - I suspect that the range of colours is nice, but wouldn't myself 
go to any trouble at all to match them exactly. Why, when I doubt that *any* 
WW1 aircraft were painted in Misterkit paints?

I can come up with a range that suits me and is just as likely to be correct 
(prove differently!) without all the intervening steps.
