Hi Michael,
When I made my Spinne I used black oil paint straight from the tube. The flying surfaces were made of 10 thou styrene; I just rubbed the oil paint on and let it dry about a day then rubbed it off using cotton buds. It gave the surfaces a varigated off white appearance. I finished it off with a coat of matt varnish althought today I would recomend Klear/Future. See my picture sight again.
Cheers,
Joel

My just about on-topic Fokker Spinne is up to the flying surface painting
stage. Yes, it's linen. But do people think it should be cream-colored or
simply white? As I mentioned, the museum replica of a Wright Bros.
aeroplane is white.
Ideas anyone?
Michael
