Jeezus Scotterik, do you work for eBay?
In all of these discussions you have gone out of your
way to defend this seller's shady business practices.
I can't think that if the shoe was on the other foot
that you would feel shafted too.
We've established that Mangus agreed to the $12 S&H
but he is upset because he got $2 value. If the kit
had been nicely boxed and had cost $4 or $5 to ship we
probably wouldn't be having this discussion. Anyone
who's bought stuff on eBay has been on the receiving
end of this kind of transaction, but usually we are
fine with it having received our cool, very much
wanted item in a week or two. Screw me if you must,
but don't make me feel screwed.
What this seller did was *morally* wrong, end of story
and that is cause enough for whatever type of feedback
Mangus chooses to leave him.
As for E, you're correct, it takes just as long to
write a message to this list as it does to leave
feedback, but if posting to this list is E's "better
things to do with his time" then how can you argue.
I don't mean to throw petrol on a fire, but I'm tired
of this. In all of your efforts to be the devil's
advocate on this matter I think you cannot see that we
are all empathizing with a fellow list member who got
a raw deal.
cheers, tracy
