[WWI] "hostage" feedback

Personally, I've given up on Ebay. I think it's gone downhill since it's
inception. Now there are just too many people trying to stick their hands
into your wallet. Prices seem over-inflated, and I've been hearing too
many "horror stories" lately.

Although my last purchase was almost two years ago, I never had any
purchases where I felt being taken advantage of on the shipping & handling.
The items were very well packed and sent either USPS Priority Mail or
Federal Express without any issues. The sellers always said to leave them
positive feedback if I was happy with the item(s) when received.

I remember purchasing a 1/4 scale Aurora P-6E from a guy whose write-up said
it was complete. Turned out it was missing a piece or two when I received
it. I emailed him to ask about a refund. He said he had bought several
kits at an estate sale. He had thought all the kits were complete and he'd
refund my money. When I asked his address so I could send the kit back, he
said to keep it since he didn't want to re-sell an incomplete kit. A few
days later I received a money order covering the cost of the kit and
shipping. I gave him some very positive feedback. I like to view this as
he made an honest mistake, rather than him getting "caught with his hand in
the cookie jar" trying to pull a fast one on me.

Paul (crawling back into lurk mode now....)
