Providing you get it for a reasonably cheap price. But if it's a regular auction (as opposed to "Buy it Now") you may end up paying through the nose for the item & the postage.

You certainly can complain on the shipping costs, even if you knew up front. If you were quoted 12 quid for postage and it actually cost 12 quid then that's fine. But to be quoted 12 pounds for postage that cost less than two is just a blatant rip-off by the seller and he should be told so. I won a kit on eBay from a US seller once who quoted me $25.00 postage. When the kit arrived the actual postage cost was $9.00. I complained and when I didn't receive an answer I left negative feedback.
