I have to chuckle. In 03, our man in Warsaw, Grzes, took me to the 
Choroszy 'factory' and we visited the operation. The 'factory' was 
one upstairs room and an outdoor balcony in the home of Tomas 
Choroszy, who lives outside Krakow; the workers are he and his 
family. Tomas is a really cool guy but does not speak English. He has 
all of his masters on shelves along one wall of the room, and will 
cast on order any old kit he's done if one can't find it from some 
retailer. He doesn't keep a stock of kits—he basically does them to 
order. He does many but not all of the masters. I never sent the 
photos to Sanjeev or Al because G. said he wanted to do an article 
about Choroszy. That having never happened, I suppose I could process 
the photos and send them in for our photo archive.

However, I'm not sure I can do this right away; it may have to wait 
until April. Why, you ask? I've been lurking since returning from the 
Caribbean/Amazon trip because I've been busy (1) designing a web site 
and processing photos from that trip for it; (2) finishing the pigeon 
bus; (3) dealing with some medical issues (which have turned out A- 
OK); (4) getting ready to leave this Friday for a month in Central 
America: 2 weeks in Costa Rica and 2 weeks on the Maya trail in 
Guatemala. Will return 1 April to normal life (whatever that is :-) )

Toby, if you really want to get out to Choroszy's place, check with 
Grzes for his location.
