OK Douglas. I'll keep you informed as to the results of my experiment. Of course, now I have to wait for a night with a lot of lightning to awaken the...er, uh...never mind.

Just for the record, if I have to choose between a vacuform and a good injection molded kit I'll take the IM every time. Its just that I have no need to add every possible detail. I just like all the pretty color schemes.

Building a vac is the closest thing to having a root canal that I know.

    put all the details in the model. Stuffing every possible detail in a model

    I have an idea for using the vacs in a different way. If it works out I'll 
    report on it. If it doesn't work out I'll keep my mouth shut.
