If you read back to Dr Merrill's original Jastagate letter that Shane posted, 
he mentions at that point (1998 IIRC) that if his sales fell, he would close 
the company on the 31st of December that year, and on the 1st January have 
a 'bonfire'.

Maybe he did it this time?
