Hi Stephen,
trust me it's worth going to see the exhibit in person, but I'm slightly biased since I built the Nieuport 17 shown in the online photo under artifacts as well as a Nieuport 11 in Lufbery's markings, 17 in Nungessers markings and SPAD VII in Thaw's markings.
E-mail me when going there since I live about 20 minutes from Windsor locks.

The New England Aviation Museum here in Windsor Locks, CT has an on line Lafayette Escadrille exhibit.

Enjoy.
Looks like Reggie and I will be doing a lot of driving around and visiting the various museums we have in Connecticut and New York (Old Rhinebeck) this summer. Assuming I can get him off his mesa for a while, that is.
I have been remiss in doing this and since I have a van and a sleeping bag I may just take off for a few days at a time. I may not smell very good after a few days on the road, but what the heck. I'll just take out my store bought teeth and slobber on people and they will steer clear of me.
There are advantages to being an old geezer.
Stephen
