Because the pale green was the latest "discovery" regarding to camouflage 
colours in D type Albatrosen. I have read about the colour called "pea 
green" in some source (perhaps the Jasta I Special Datafile?) so I gues that 
you can get it too wrong if you have that in mind. Personally, I have 
painted my Albaros D.II wing in a colour I feel it's too deep green, but 
once I realized it the ing was dry, and I wasn't in the mood for mixing 
again and stripping the wing.
