This is off topic but I will try and and make the connection in the end.
Today is my first day of retirement. Doesn't seem any different yet. Let's see what next week brings.
The other change is I am converting to arcylic paints. My choice is Gunze Sangyo. I have painted two ot subjects and the results are beautiful. I thin with straight 91% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol. I will have to mix my own WW1 colors but that is not a big deal since I already mix some of my own paints. I will show off the results as soon as possible.
The Caproni has been sitting due to this retirement things. Now that I can concentrate, progress will soon take place. Also, the class I teach on Fridays at Hobbytown will be converted to a workshop and will last most of Friday. I already have two adults, one retired, that already spend the day building. That was another reason for switching to water based paints. I want to get a spray booth and teach air brushing. Can't spread toxic fumes in the store.
I will keep you post on my progress.
