     It is not that difficult to do.  On this particular model the plastic is gray colored.  I just paint the 
underside surfaces with a very light coat of HUMBROL 34 (Matt White).  Then I just high light the 
rib detail with a dark color (usually brown).  Once that is done then I paint the under surfaces 
with HUMBROL 74  (CDL) utilizing thin coats to let the rib detail bleed through.
