Hi Neil,
   
  Rigging is not enjoyable when you make it so complex; just use hot stretched sprue and white glue. "KISS ! "  That Brequet Br. M 5 took less than an hour altogether and that goes for most of my models. I usually make enough stretched sprue to finish several models and keep it in a plastic folder. Maybe someone should start manufacturing it. Not me though it's too boring. What I produce for my own use is quite enough! :-). All I can add is that practice makes perfect.

I see it like jigsaw puzzles, something you can do slowly, a little
every day.
Rushing it tends to take the pleasure out of it.

Yesterday I tipped a whole can of black Humbrol on my jeans, I'm
begiining
to get unenthusiastic about Humbrol paint. If the first can of Humbrol 
hadn't dried out, I wouldn't have had to open the second full can I
spilt.
